During 2007 DCC signed a contract for technical cooperation with Cyberlink. This Macedonian company owns the WEB portal (www.fashionmk.com) that provides information's for textile industry. Regarding the fact that the Macedonian textile industry takes a significant role in our countries economy and represents one of the most significant pillars, this mutual collaboration should increase competitiveness of our textile industry on international level. One of the first steps in this direction was pro-mission in Holland, organized by DCC between the 31.10 03.11.2007.
Nine Macedonian companies took direct participation in this pro-mission, representing their capacities to various Dutch interested business parties.
In addition, there was organized a visit to Modint one of the largest textile organizations in Europe which has more than 800 member companies. Information for the textile mission in Holland, along with the company profiles of all involved were publicized on their news letter. On this meeting both sides were viewing various collaboration possibilities and were discussing and presenting the rules and legislation for exports into the EU, which is of benefit for the present Macedonian producers.
It is worth to mention also that during visit to Holland a big textile company from Holland was interested in establishing cooperation with Macedonian textile companies. The factory has its own production facilities in Poland, Romania and Turkey. Тhe meeting resulted in possible cooperation with Macedonian companies.
On this pro-mission, DCC organized a visit to one of the largest sales centers in Holland (V&D).

Also, some other Dutch textile companies, showed an interest for collaboration with a Macedonian textile company. Few Macedonian companies sent them “company profiles” as to get better acquainted with the possibilities and future interest.
As a result of this mutual mission, it is quite possible to be formed many partnerships between Dutch textile brands, and Macedonian textile producers in the near future.
