The Dutch Chamber
of Commerce in Macedonia (DCC) successfully concluded a mission to
The Netherlands for the Macedonian dairy industry. Six
representatives of Mlekara Bitola,
Pharmachem Skopje, Zemjodelski Kombinat Kicevo and Sampteks Skopje met
with 18 Dutch companies and organizations.
In the evening of
Wednesday 31.05, the delegation was welcomed by the Macedonian
Embassy at
Amsterdam Airport.
In the following four days the delegation visited 18 Dutch
companies, among which a fresh milk factory with a capacity of one
million liters per day, a milk powder factory, a brand new cheese
factory (total investment: 100 million euro), cow- and sheep farms,
trading companies in machinery and a slaughterhouse specialized in
lamb meat. The programme was very full, but as Mr Blagoja
Gjorgjijoski from Kicevo clarified: "I did not come here to sleep. I
discovered huge opportunities for my company." DCC is an association
of over 80 Macedonian companies, aiming to promote and support
strong business relations between The Netherlands
